"It is well with my soul..." I am a Christian. When I was five years old, I asked God to come into my life. Since then, God has really blessed me -- not only with material things, but also with love and great happiness. When I struggle, God gives me hope to carry on. When I succeed, God rejoices with me. When I was a student at the University of Washington in Seattle, I joined University Christian Fellowship. College can be a very difficult and scary time in a person's life. The Red Cross provides emergency assistance to people worldwide.	The WWF (World Wildlife Fund) works to protect our natural environment.	The Nature Conservancy protects the natural environment in a distinctively American way: identify places in need of preservation, then buy as much land in those places as possible.
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and atlethic competition for people with mental retardation. My brother took part in Special Olympics, and one of the happiest times in my life was when I volunteered at a Special Olympics event.
