"Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord." - Ephesians 5:19	B E G I N N I N G S I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My brother Eddie was born two years earlier in Hollywood, California. My parents had come to the United States from Singapore in the late 1960s. From Philadelphia, my family moved south. We lived for a short time in Tuskegee, Alabama, while my father pursued his career in medicine. In 1974, we made our home in Atlanta, Georgia.
